Our Vision for Ministry

Ephesians 3:17-18

And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ.

Proclaiming Christ and growing disciples for God’s glory

We desire to have the gospel of Christ at the centre of all we do, the gospel is the God’s good news of rescue for all who trust and depend on Jesus Christ.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.

Romans 1: 16

We want all people to know that the gospel is the power of God for salvation (Rom 1:16), and that it has the power to transform all areas of our lives.

We want to see all people understand what it means to be a disciple of Jesus (to be transformed by the gospel), and to understand their roles in making disciples of Jesus (the power of the gospel to save).

Through Jesus we have received grace and apostleship to bring about the obedience of faith for the sake of his name among all the nations, including you who are called to belong to Jesus Christ.

Romans 1:5-6

How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”

Romans 10:14-15

We want our church to be filled with disciples making disciples. This happens as we are confronted by the Bible, not only on Sunday but every day as we read and pray both individually or together in church or other settings.
